Try the D-XSUB "BOOST" or "XTENDED LF" settings for low-frequency shaping—turn up the volume and watch eyes widen and jaws drop. All of this comes in a compact, easy-to-install enclosure.

The DXS series features a completely redesigned bandpass-style enclosure that delivers extremely high sound pressure levels with significantly reduced tendency to distort. The custom woofer with exceptional damping accurately transfers the brute force of the highly efficient 1020W Class-D amplifier.

Yamaha's impressive DSP technologies are cleverly applied for precise filter tuning and perfect control over the low end. They also provide high-grade protection features that ensure every component can perform at its best. With a further refined DSP feature called D-XSUB, you can select between the bass settings NORMAL, BOOST and XTENDED LF. In NORMAL mode the bass is perfectly balanced, in BOOST mode it sounds tighter and more precise. In EXTENDED-LF mode the low end is extended downward, delivering a massive foundation.
