The Samson C02 pencil condenser microphones are small mics that capture every nuance and character of your productions. Their low-mass diaphragms excel in both live and recording applications, featuring a linear frequency response with optimal transient capture, making the C02 perfect for miking acoustic instruments.

With the ability to handle sound pressure levels up to 134 dB SPL, the C02s are equally ideal for use as drum overheads or cymbal mics.

Packaged as a pair, the C02s are matched to within ± 0.5 dB sensitivity of each other. This is especially suited for stereo microphone setups where accuracy is critical. The C02s feature a tight cardioid pickup pattern to capture audio in front of the mic while minimizing pickup from the sides and rear. This increases isolation and reduces feedback.

Each C02 microphone comes in a protective pouch and includes a proprietary shock-mounted mic clip to ensure maximum isolation from vibrations while minimizing handling noise. Additionally, the two included foam windshields can be attached to significantly reduce wind noise outdoors or plosives in vocal applications.
