I use these mics for recording acoustic instruments, as overheads, and on a medium rock stage as a sound source for the drummer's in-ears.
Recently put them also in the vocal groups of a larger church choir.
Very resistant to feedback and with a natural transparent sound without the choppy quirks of other sticks of this and also higher price ranges. Highly recommended!

I've been using this pair for a few weeks on stage and in the studio for overhead and percussion and am quite satisfied. A comparison with t.bone SC-140 and AGK C 535 definitely suggests a kinship with the latter. The t.bones are much more brilliant, but overall thin, while the Prosoniq offer more bass and low-mids. In that area, of course, the AKG is a bit more balanced, but costs more than 10 times as much! Otherwise, the equipment is minimal. but for this price, we do not want to complain. The mounts are very simple plastic clamps (I now use almost only microphone spiders on stage, which helps immensely, especially on hollow stages to reduce the sound muff - before you have to tackle the signal with high-pass!), the leatherette pouches are practical and well lined.
Otherwise, there is a built-in bass cut (high pass 100Hz/12dB), but the fiddly mini-switch for it, can only be operated with mini-screwdriver with a lot of force. This gives then but a star deduction.
All in all, a clear buy recommendation and a real bargain

The microphones are good as they are!
Under no circumstance (!) disassemble the capsule!
The trimpot inside the microphone is NOT a treble control, but sets the bias for the FET in the input stage. The bias for the FET was properly set in my microphones, adjusting the trimpot will result in a misaligned input stage and lower undistorted SPL.
Just keep the microphones as they are. If something could be improved, the manufacturer would have done that!
