The MS-116 offers secure footing thanks to a locking clamp with metal insert in the base. Another locking clamp on the boom arm ensures reliable clamping with minimal effort while protecting the tube. The joint also has a double rubber disc clamp with metal insert, allowing easy adjustment with little force while providing strong clamping power and minimal wear.

The package also includes a reducer thread so you can easily use any mic clip or shock mount with 3/8" or 5/8" thread on the MS-116. Additionally, two standard cable clamps are attached to the stand, allowing you to neatly secure the microphone cable. This prevents cable movement and unwanted noise—and keeps everything tidy.
