Eine schaltbare 15 db Dämpfung macht das KSM32 zum optimalen Mikrofon für die Abnahme von Schallquellen mit extrem hohem Pegel wie Schlagzeug, Percussion oder Blasinstrumente. Bei der Wiedergabe des Bassbereichs leistet das KSM32 mit seiner ultra-dünnen Membran Außergewöhnliches.
Darüber hinaus werden unerwünschte Hintergrundgeräusche durch den in drei Positionen schaltbaren Hochpassfilter nahezu eliminiert.
