In the low end it preserves the kick drum's powerful punch; up in the high presence the attack remains precise across the frequency range and, depending on playing style, can be dry, snappy or richly rounded. Electric bass and tuba are captured by the e 602-II with equal depth: warm, dynamic and always substantial. It sounds as massive as it looks, yet thanks to its aluminum lightweight construction it stays easy to position — in the studio, in clubs, rehearsal rooms, at smaller gigs or for home recording.
