Das AKG C519 ML ist ein Kondensatormikrofon zur Abnahme von Blasinstrumenten. Es lässt sich mit der Klemmhalterung einfach am Instrument befestigen. Durch den linearen Frequenzgang klingt Ihr Instrument ganz natürlich. Das AKG C519 ML hat eine nierenförmige Richtcharakteristik. Dadurch ist es sehr unempfindlich gegen Rückkopplungen und gut vor Umgebungsgeräuschen abgeschirmt. Mit dem 12,5 cm langen Schwanenhals richten sie das Mikrofon exakt aus.
Die Mikrofonkapsel des AKG C519 ML ist elastisch gelagert. So werden störende Nebengeräusche, die durch Bewegung entstehen, auf ein Minimum reduziert. Die schaltbare Bassabschwächung dient dazu, eine Überbetonung tiefer Frequenzen zu vermeiden.
Das AKG C519 ML ist für die Verwendung von Taschensender PT40, PT45, PT420, PT470, PT4500 und DPT800 mit einen 1,5 m langem, steckbarem Anschlusskabel mit 3-poligem Mini-XLR-Stecker ausgestattet.
