AKG C 520 L Headset Condenser Microphone with Rear Neckband!
The AKG C520 is a very lightweight neckband vocal microphone for singers, musicians, dancers, and presenters. The voice is reproduced especially clearly and powerfully thanks to a slight high-frequency boost.
Microphones with a cardioid polar pattern pick up sound from the front. This makes the microphone resistant to feedback and well shielded from ambient noise. The AKG C520 L’s microphone capsule is elastically suspended. This minimizes disturbing noise caused by the singer’s movements. The miniature gooseneck allows optimal microphone positioning. It can be mounted on the left or right side of the neckband as desired.
The neckband is made of spring steel, continuously adjustable, and perfectly adapts to head size. Thanks to its low weight, the AKG C520 is comfortable to wear. To protect the microphone capsule from moisture such as sweat, the microphone features a drip ring.
The AKG C520 is a condenser microphone and requires a power supply (phantom power) of 9 - 52 volts. It connects via XLR plug to the microphone input of a mixing console or phantom power supply unit.
The microphone is also available with a mini XLR plug as the AKG C520 L. It can be connected to bodypack transmitters of AKG wireless systems or to a phantom power supply unit.
