The BX.7 from Litecraft is a versatile, outdoor-capable fixture developed for a wide range of applications. The BX.7 builds on the successful BeamX.7 IP concept and, in addition to the identical optics and electronics, adds an integrated lithium-ion battery and a Lumenradio CRMX chip. That makes this fixture suitable for completely wireless operation both indoors and outdoors.

The unit delivers the same high light output as the BeamX.7 and BeamX.7 IP. The beam angle is narrowly defined at ten degrees, expanding its classic truss-toner applications to beamwork effects. For a wider beam angle, the supplied frost filter can be quickly and easily mounted to the fixture, widening the beam to around 20°. Like all Litecraft products, the BX.7 features a Y-bracket that won’t slip. The high-quality die-cast aluminum housing is elegant, robust and thermally optimized, so the unit operates without active ventilation. That makes it suitable for use in noise-sensitive environments.

Naturally, the unit's compact dimensions also fit standard 290 mm trusses. The BX.7 features 5-pin XLR in IP configuration as well as powerIP connectors – both as input and output. This lets the device be safely charged and also permanently powered from mains for long-term deployments. A battery-level indicator constantly provides information about the battery status. In addition, an integrated "Emergency" circuit allows operation as an emergency lamp. Once activated, the unit responds to appropriate signals or settings when on mains power. In the event of a power outage, it automatically switches to battery operation with a selectable light color.

You can control the BX.7 in several ways depending on the application. Wired control via DMX 512 is, of course, standard. Another option is professional wireless DMX transmission via the integrated Lumenradio CRMX chip. The CRMX chip is compatible not only with Lumenradio transmitters but also with Wireless Solution's W-DMX products. The unit also offers internal fixed colors and programs that can be selected directly on the device or conveniently and quickly via the supplied infrared remote.
