With the Beyerdynamic DT 990 Pro 250 Ohm I have very quickly found that they are a bit quiet because they are just open, so I have the DT 990 Pro 250 Ohm.
770 Pro 250 Ohm ordered because closed studio headphones are simply better in the studio
Am now finally satisfied with the headphones

Questions about product
Question by Mike on 12.05.2020
I bought from you the Palmer Pocket Amp MK2 preamp for electric guitar with 3.5 mm jack headphone output. Can I connect the DT 770 PRO problemkis?
Answer by Musikhaus Kirstein:
Yes, you can connect it without any problems.
Question by AdamO on 10.01.2020
Do these headphones work with a Roland TD-17KVX E drums or do you need a headphone amp? Many thanks in advance.
Answer by Musikhaus Kirstein:
Since the headphones are quite high impedance, I would recommend connecting a headphone amplifier in front of them.
Question by Klaus Küchler on 13.06.2018
What is the deal with the ohm numbers given? I record via audio interface. Is this the right headphone for me in that regard? (The AKGs I use are 55 ohms).
Thanks for your answer
Klaus
Answer by Musikhaus Kirstein:
The ohm number indicates the resistance of the headphones. The higher the resistance, the quieter the headphones, but the distortion factor also decreases - in other words, the headphones sound cleaner. It is important to have a headphone amplifier with enough power for 250 ohm headphones. With an ordinary audio interface, however, this should not cause any problems.
