The device allows free use of Serato DJ Pro and simultaneously acts as a hardware unlock for rekordbox, so you can use the performance features of both applications.

Magvel Fader Pro

Pioneer DJ has improved the feel of the Magvel Fader Pro and increased the vertical stability of the knob shaft by 30 percent, letting you scratch even more freely.

Large Performance Pads

The 8 large performance pads on each channel are easy to hit when you want to quickly trigger hot cues and samples. Thanks to independent pad modes, you can use 2 different functions simultaneously—one on each channel set.

Large Effect Levers

Manipulate sounds in real time by adding effects with the large levers. The DJM-S7 includes all 22 built-in Beat FX from the DJM-S11, allowing you to work creatively, plus software effects in Serato DJ Pro and rekordbox. The 6 effects assigned to the FX Select buttons can be easily changed, and you can keep track of the name and beat value of the active effect on the OLED display.

Bluetooth Input: Expand Your Performances with Wireless Audio from Your Phone

Simply pair your phone via Bluetooth with the DJM-S7 and you can play tracks directly in your set. Use loops for scratch overs or a music app to spin a requested track from someone in the crowd. Or just use your phone as a backup if your laptop fails. You can output the sound directly through the master output or one of the channels.

Loop-MIDI: Automated Control of DJ Software Functions with the Effect Levers

This feature in the DJM-S7’s effect section can control various functions of your DJ software by repeatedly sending a MIDI signal to the software in a set beat cycle. Functions like hot cue, sampler, and key shift are pre-assigned to the FX Select buttons, so you can use Loop-MIDI immediately without having to assign functions first.

You can create a build-up by gradually shortening the beat cycle of a looped snare sample.

Loop MIDI: Pattern B

You can also raise or lower the track’s key on deck 1 or 2, activate sampler slot 1 or hot cue 1 / A, or mute the deck.

The PLX-1000 is a masterfully built piece of precision technology for professional DJs, developed based on 50 years of experience in designing high-quality turntables. This direct-drive turntable with strong torque features a classic, functional layout of its controls and has a rubberized S-shaped tonearm for maximum isolation and minimal feedback. To prevent resonance and vibrations, the PLX-1000’s chassis is made of solid die-cast zinc. The bottom part is reinforced with 8 mm thick resin and a 9 mm thick layer of vibration-damping material. The rubber-decoupled tonearm reduces howling effects, while rubber and spring isolation absorb external vibrations.

You Control the Tempo

Thanks to multiple tempo controls, you can speed up or slow down the platter rotation anytime by ±8%, ±16%, and ±50%, while pressing the reset button instantly returns it to ±0%.

Ortofon Concorde MKII Twin Digital System

To achieve optimal performance for DVS systems, the Concorde DIGITAL was specially developed. The cartridge system impresses not only with its very high output voltage but also with its sound quality on conventional vinyl records. The signal-to-noise ratio, which can normally cause misinterpretation of the timecode signal, is reduced by the Concorde DIGITAL’s improved output voltage of 10 mV. Additionally, the cartridge system reduces playback of unwanted frequencies caused by vinyl wear and actively supports the DVS system in interpreting the timecode signal.

When you use control vinyl with a rekordbox DVS setup, you can play, mix, and scratch tracks from your PC/Mac with the same feel as using analog records. The special designs include Kanji—the Chinese characters used in Japanese writing—on the protective sleeve of each set and on the record labels to express one of five key aspects of dance music: "Music", "Mix", "Scratch", "Jump", or "Dance".
