The Roland DJ-505 is a 2-channel controller for Serato DJ with four decks that combines the advanced performance capabilities of Serato DJ with the legendary sounds and sequencing of the Roland drum machines TR-808, TR-909, TR-606* and TR-707*. With the DJ-505, you break the boundaries of mixing and instantly create beats and rhythms, sync them with your Serato DJ tracks, and produce unique transitions, live remixes, enhanced classic tracks, or your own music.

High-End DJ Controller in a Compact Format

The DJ-505 is a two-channel Serato DJ controller with four decks and numerous features, including the complete Serato Tool Kit. Thanks to easy transport, professional build quality, and an advanced feature set, the DJ-505 is ideal for mobile use, club DJs, live performances, and studio productions.

The integrated 24-bit / 48 kHz audio interface and Roland high-end audio converters on the master and booth outputs ensure faithful reproduction of audio signals for a clean and powerful sound. The balanced XLR outputs allow direct connection to a professional PA system, while you monitor your mix via the booth outputs and the separate 6.3 mm and 3.5 mm headphone outputs. Additionally, a 6.3 mm TS microphone input is available to integrate vocals or external instruments into your performance setup.

Dedicated controls for Serato DJ enable quick creation and triggering of hot cues, loops, TR sounds, sequencer patterns, and samples, as well as switching between the four Serato decks via the deck select button. Use the channel filters or Serato FX (selectable via three FX buttons per deck) to refine transitions or accentuate scratches.

Authentic Scratching

The large platters of the DJ-505 operate with minimal latency, allowing responsive, delay-free scratch performance comparable to traditional turntables. The illuminated outer rings along the jog wheel immediately indicate the status of each deck. Like the DJ-808 and DJ-202 controllers, the DJ-505’s top platters are made of brushed aluminum, offering outstanding playability and maximum durability.

The DJ-505 includes bass drum, snare drum, closed hat, open hat, tom, rim, clap, and ride sounds from the TR-808, TR-909, TR-606*, and TR-707*, offering plenty of options to create drum sound layers and sequences. Furthermore, you can fine-tune your TR drum sounds and samples via controls for level, attack, decay, and tune, and create sequences using the famous step-based TR-S pad interface.

Remix, Produce, Perform

The versatility of the DJ-505 combined with deep integration of Serato DJ offers aspiring DJs and producers new creative possibilities and enables remixing, producing, and performing in a single, compact device. Use the 16-step sequencer to program drum patterns with the sounds of the TR drums or the Serato sampler and sync your beats with your Serato DJ tracks to create unique transitions, live remixes, enhanced classic tracks, or new, standalone music.

Use the Inst-Rec mode for spontaneous sampler sequencing in real time or take advantage of the advanced features of the Serato sampler to layer and sync multiple audio tracks or loops in the total of eight sampler slots. Additionally, the DJ-505 features a MIDI output to precisely sync your external MIDI devices and instruments with the TR-S sequencer.

Active Speakers with Bluetooth®

The 13 cm woofers deliver 50 watts of power in cooperation with the 2.54 cm tweeters. On the connection side, the MM-550BT speaker system proves extremely versatile. Besides Bluetooth® use, audio sources can also be connected via RCA (R/L). The rear controls for power, volume, treble, and bass make fine-tuning easy, so the right sound for the chosen application can always be set. The built-in Bluetooth® receiver supports version 5.1. This makes the McGrey MM-550BT ideal for use with PC, notebook, or console, tablet, phone, or TV, as well as in the studio, for recording, monitoring, or playback.

Speaker Stands for Studio Monitors

The two Pronomic speaker stands can be continuously adjusted in height between 19 cm and 27.5 cm. To prevent unwanted slipping of the top part, the stands feature a safety pin that locks the stand at 4 different heights. The rubber feet ensure optimal stability and decoupling from the floor. The speaker shelves are rubberized with two foam rubber strips, protecting the speakers from scratches and providing even better isolation from the stand. The dimensions of the speaker plates are 22.5 cm x 22.5 cm.

Comfortable Stereo Headphones

The KDJ-1000 delivers a full, balanced sound with rich bass reproduction and clear highs. It offers plenty of volume yet clean and precise stereo imaging. Thanks to the low impedance, the KDJ-1000 can also handle extreme volume levels on low-signal inputs. Naturally, the softly padded, wide headband is adjustable in length. The entire headphone folds up for space-saving storage. For working at the mixer, the comfortable ear cups can also rotate 180° to allow classic "single ear monitoring." The thick, soft padding of the circumaural cups additionally provides good external noise isolation.
