Need a quick, arbitrarily long 4-channel multicore? No problem! Pronomic's NetCore system transmits both analog and digital signals through a thin network cable.
Ingenious Technology
One Cat cable contains 4 conductor pairs – so four balanced audio signals can be carried in a single thin cable. The cable's shielding functions as the signal ground, so operation is only possible with shielded network cables. Because the NetCore system works with standard network cables, you can even use an existing building network to route signals from one room to another. The prerequisite is direct wiring of the wall sockets – there must be no switch or similar device between them.
Freely Combinable
The NetCore system includes several stage boxes, rack units and pigtails, and every component can be connected to any other. It doesn't get more flexible than this.
Applications
The uses for a NetCore line are very versatile, for example:
- From the drum kit to the mixing console
- From the mixing console to the monitors
- As a sub-multicore for keyboards to the mixing console
- From a DMX controller to lighting effects (4 DMX lines simultaneously)
You can't route a multicore more elegantly and slimly. To avoid possible interference, we recommend using a NetCore run only completely for analog OR digital signals.
