Need a 4-channel multicore of any length in a hurry? No problem! Pronomic's NetCore system sends both analog and digital signals over a thin network cable.
Ingenious Technology
One CAT cable contains 4 twisted pairs — so you can carry four balanced audio signals in a single thin cable. The cable's shielding acts as the signal ground, so operation requires shielded network cables only. Because the NetCore system works with standard network cables, you can even use an existing building network to route signals from one room to another. This requires direct wiring of the sockets — there must be no switch or similar device in between.
Mix and Match
The NetCore system includes several stageboxes, rack units and tails, and each component can be connected to any other. It doesn't get more flexible than this.
Applications
Possible uses for a NetCore run include, for example:
- From the drum kit to the mixer
- From the mixer to the monitors
- As a sub-multicore for keyboards to the mixer
- From the DMX controller to lighting effects (4 DMX lines simultaneously)
You won't find a tidier or slimmer way to run a multicore. To avoid possible interference, we recommend using a NetCore run exclusively for analog OR digital signals.
