CIK 122, die Meterware des Konfektionskabels CPI PZ, weist eine Außenschirmung aus Kupfer-Drähten und einen extra Schirm aus leitendem Kunststoff auf. Die Kabelenden sind mit 3,5 mm und 6,3 mm REAN Steckern aus Vollmetall handverlötet. Das bringt gegenüber marktüblichen Kabeln mit angeschweißten Steckern aus Plastik den Vorteil, dass elektrostatisch verursachte Störgeräusche, die durch Bewegung, Drauftreten etc. entstehen, minimiert werden.
