Flexible AVB Stagebox for Large Live Setups!

The PreSonus NSB 32.16 Networked Stage Box expands your StudioLive Series III system with a professional 32x16 AVB stage box featuring 32 digitally controlled XMAX Mic/Line inputs, 16 balanced XLR outputs and 2 stereo AES3 digital outputs. Over a single Ethernet cable you can place analog inputs and outputs exactly where they’re needed: on stage, in the monitor rack, in permanent installs, in theaters, in broadcast facilities or in the studio.

32 Inputs With XMAX Preamps

The NSB 32.16 offers 32 locking combo inputs for microphones and line sources. Microphones connect via the balanced XLR inputs to digitally controlled XMAX preamps, while line devices connect via 6.35 mm stereo jack sockets. The digital stage box replaces long analog multicore runs and provides a clear, flexible signal distribution for live sound, corporate events, houses of worship, clubs, schools and fixed AV installations.

AVB Network for StudioLive Series III

As a networked stage box, the PreSonus NSB 32.16 is designed for StudioLive Series III digital mixers. Inputs can be routed to any compatible mixer on the AVB network — for example to Front of House, monitor positions or a broadcast mixing position. The integrated 2-port AVB switch supports daisy-chain configurations and simplifies building compact, expandable audio networks without unnecessary cabling.

Gain Compensation for Multiple Mixers

The onboard DSP provides per-input gain compensation so multiple mixers on the network can use the same input signals while retaining local gain adjustments. That’s especially valuable when FOH, monitor mixes and recording run in parallel. Phantom power, input gain and other functions are controlled directly from a StudioLive Series III console or conveniently via the UC Surface software on tablet or laptop.

Rugged Construction for Stage and Rack

The sturdy steel chassis is built for demanding touring life and reliable permanent installation. In a 19" rack format with 3U height, the NSB 32.16 fits professional racks and many floor-tank solutions. The flexibly positioned rack adapters allow flush or recessed mounting and front- or rear-access to the connectors, keeping your setup tidy, secure and practical to cable.

Precise Audio Specs and Digital Outputs

With a frequency response of 20 Hz to 20,000 Hz, 94 dB signal-to-noise ratio on mic and line inputs, 115 dB digital dynamic range and switchable +48 VDC phantom power per channel, the stage box delivers clear technical headroom. The 16 XLR outputs reach up to +24 dBu, and 2 stereo AES3 digital outputs are provided. Supported sample rates of 44.1 kHz and 48 kHz make the NSB 32.16 a versatile AVB I/O box, digital snake and audio network expansion.
