Das DAR84 ist ein Expander AudioRack für das digitale Mischsystem GLD. Jeder AR84 fügt 8 XLR-Eingänge und 4 XLR-Ausgänge zu einem GLD-System hinzu.
Bis zu zwei AR84 können zu einem GLD System hinzugefügt werden, verbunden mit einem AR2412 AudioRack und / oder direkt zum GLD-80 Mixer. Die Verbindung erfolgt über ein Cat5-Kabel mit Allen & Heaths dSNAKE-Protokoll, wodurch der AR2412 bis zu 120 m vom GLD-80- oder GLD-112-Mischer entfernt positioniert werden kann. dSNAKE bietet die Kontrolle über den Remote-Vorverstärker, und alle Mikrofonvorverstärker sind aufrufbar.
