The Pronomic P-152E is a professional, ultra-light 2-channel power amp that excels for monitor use in live sound or for driving passive speakers in the studio or at home. With outstanding sonic characteristics, the amplifier convinces not only the test gear in the lab but also the ear. The amp operates almost silently and includes protection circuitry against short circuits and overheating.
Clear Front Panel
The front panel is clear and practical: alongside the power switch you'll find the detented knobs for input sensitivity and status and level indicator LEDs. The level meter operates in three stages to help you better assess the input level. If the "Clip" LEDs light up, reduce the level to avoid distortion or even damage.
Flexible Rear Panel
Both inputs are conveniently implemented as combo jacks, allowing use of either 1/4-inch or XLR connectors. Between the jacks is the stereo/mono switch, handy when driving two separate rooms. In mono mode both input channels are sent to both outputs. A Thru output in XLR format lets you pass the signal present at the input jacks (depending on switch position) on to other gear in stereo or mono. Finally, on the far right are the two SPK-format speaker outputs for driving passive speakers with a minimum impedance of 4 Ohm.

I could hardly notice any heat development.
Unfortunately, the 4cm fan, as is 'usual' with such fans, is not exactly quiet and it also does not seem to be temperature-controlled.
There is a 'considerable' crosstalk between the channels, i.e. if there is only a signal on one channel, it cracks and crackles clearly on the other channel (even if the level control there is set to 0).
As soon as there is also a signal there, you don't hear it anymore. (So it seems to be due to the supply voltage ...)
In normal operation with signal on both channels (e.g. stereo) and moderate volume this should not disturb.
Under 'full load' - i.e. driven until shortly before clipping - the built-in buffer capacity seems to be finally insufficient for the Class D amplifier chip.
This is noticeable by a clear loss of sound quality if you want to use the full power - but who normally wants that.
In the low to medium output range I could not detect (i.e. hear) any distortion.
It is therefore better to use this amplifier only with 8 Ohm speakers to avoid this overload effect.
A minus point is for me the wiring of the Speakon sockets. There is the same channel available on each of the sockets on connection pair 1 and 2.
A tapping of both channels via a 4-pin cable is therefore not possible.
