Direct Injection Box: unsymmetrical to symmetrical!

With the PDI-10, you can turn high-impedance, unsymmetrical audio signals into symmetrical, low-impedance signals. You have the option to input from sound sources with jacks, such as an electric guitar, electric bass or keyboard, and transfer them to devices with a symmetrical XLR input like a mixer. In addition to the symmetrical XLR output, the passive DI Box from Pronomic allows you to connect an amplifier over an asymmetrical output jack. Here the asymmetrical input signal is directly passed to the asymmetrical output jack.

Input Jack

A 6.35 mm jack for high impedance, asymmetrical input signals from electric guitars, electric basses, keyboards, etc.

Output Jack

A 6.35 mm jack for asymmetrical output signals. This jack is suitable for devices like instrument amplifiers. The asymmetrical input signal is directly passed to the asymmetrical output jack.

XLR-Output

With this asymmetrical output devices like mixers can be connected. The outgoing signal is converted and low impedance.

Signal Adjustment of the Input Level

Input signals with high levels like keyboards can be lowered to between 20-40 dB with a selector switch.

Ground Lift Switch

With the ground lift switch, you can disconnect the ground connection of the XLR signal, in order to avoid ground loops.
