LD Systems PPA 2 - Phono Preamplifier & Equalizer in One!
The LD Systems PPA 2 is an extremely compact analog phono preamp that equalizes the extremely low output signal of conventional turntables to RIAA standard. It enables connection to devices without a phono input, such as mixers, PA power amps, or sound cards.
The phono inputs and line outputs are both implemented as RCA jacks; the PPA 2 also features a screw terminal for the turntable ground wire and a 6.35 mm stereo jack for headphone connection. The preamp’s total harmonic distortion is below 0.05%, and channel separation measures -75 dB.
The LD Systems PPA 2 is powered by the included 12V power adapter, with a bright LED on top of the sturdy metal housing indicating power status.
