This is how to make professional recordings!
If you want to create high-quality recordings, the use of a microphone shock mount is a must. Since large diaphragm microphones - as they are usually used in the studio - are also very sensitive to low-frequency impact sound, these microphones are mechanically decoupled from the microphone stand with the help of a shock mount.
Simple design with great impact
Since the microphone holder is completely rubber-mounted, vibrations from the microphone stand hardly penetrate the microphone capsule. This results in significantly better speech and vocal recordings than with a conventional microphone clamp. A small trick with big impact.
Very light construction
The outer rubber bands are suspended in the stable aluminium frame, while the inner plastic frame contains additional anti-slip bands in which the microphone is fixed. Due to this design, the holder fits almost all types of microphones used. The double elastic suspension also increases the effect of the microphone shock mount. With the 5/8" screw thread, the spider can be mounted on any commercially available microphone stand.
