Piccolo Trumpet Including Bb and A Leadpipes

The first notes with my own piccolo mouthpiece ( Bach- Cornett- mouthpiece 7D ) and the A- pin ( it is generally recommended, also with other brands, for intonation reasons ) were very good in the middle to high scale range, the low notes I would have to re-intonate with the slightly common tuning slides. But this is necessary with all small trumpets due to their construction.
And the first pieces ? As a trumpet player you have a lot to do during the Christmas season. I played a few passages from the WO for a recent occasion. The sound is round, not obtrusive, as I find, with my mouthpiece noble in sound. A little more blowing resistance than the original Schilke Piccolo there is already. If one plays WO 1st trumpet, I could imagine this rather on the original to make. But I already know that I am looking forward to the 7 WO assignments this year in the 2nd voice, because with this instrument it is already possible for me to develop my own individual tone after a short time.
