The FT-25/6 Magister II is made entirely of brass, with slides crafted from nickel silver. The bell diameter measures 380 mm, and the conical bore is 19.5 - 21.5 mm.
6 Valves, 3 Triggers - Plenty to Keep Your Hands Busy!
The Lechgold FT-25/6 Magister II features 6 valves (4R + 2L), with the 5th and 6th valves arranged as dependent.
The pitch compensation of the 1st valve slide is 'on pull' - when the trigger (left thumb) is engaged the slide is shortened. The pitch compensation of the 2nd and 4th valve slides is 'on push' - when the respective trigger is engaged (2nd valve: left finger, 4th valve: left thumb) the slide is extended.
The valve mechanism is equipped with original Minibal linkages, guaranteeing perfect and reliable valve action.
