Amp Modeling and Effects

The more than 30 lavaAI amps use neural modeling and are designed for dynamic response, realistic playing nuances and high tonal fidelity. As a result, the Lava Studio responds sensitively to pick attack, volume and playing style. The sound is further shaped by over 40 effects for drives, analog delay, stereo delay, reverb and modulation. That creates clean tones, crunchy gain, wide stereo textures and dense effect chains right on the unit.

Recording, Looper and Learning Features

The built-in mini-DAW and 8-track looper let you capture ideas, overdub and arrange without an extra computer. Individual tracks can be exported so sketches can be refined later. 300+ backing tracks and drum grooves provide practice material for timing, style and improvisation. You also get video lessons, interactive tabs and community jams. LavaAI Stem Isolation separates vocals, drums, guitar and bass from many songs, making covering, learning and analysis especially efficient.

Touch Display, Streaming and Connectivity

The 13.3" Full-HD multi-touch display with 1920 x 1080 resolution makes sounds, exercises and recording functions easy to access. Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube and a built-in browser are available right on the device, while Wi-Fi (2.4/5 GHz), Bluetooth 5.0, USB-C and lavaCloud sync round out the modern workflow. With 4 GB RAM, 64 GB internal storage, an 800 MHz audio DSP and a 6-core CPU up to 1.8 GHz, the system is engineered for smooth operation and real-time audio.

Sound System and Amplifier Power

The class-D amplifier delivers 40 W RMS and covers a frequency range of 50 - 20,000 Hz.
