The SK-88 is the perfect keyboard set for anyone looking for a wide range and easy operation at a low price. Besides the high-quality sounds, the piano shines with great features for music lessons.
Clearly Designed
Few control knobs but plenty of overview: Almost all settings are made using the keyboard. Their respective functions are shown directly above the keys, providing quick access while keeping the appearance tidy.
Large Sound Variety with Effects
On the right side, there are nine keys for different sounds: the first eight select the most common sounds and a percussion set. The ninth key can be assigned one of 139 GM sounds. Pressing two keys simultaneously mixes the two selected sounds (dual function). Each sound can also be refined with sustain (the note rings a bit longer even after the key is released) or vibrato.
Split and Twinova Function
These two functions differ in that the split function allows a different sound for the left-hand keys than for the right-hand keys. The Twinova function ("Lesson" key) splits the keyboard into two halves, effectively creating two small, independent piano keyboards side by side.
Integrated Media Player
The built-in player can play MP3 files from a USB stick directly through the speakers. Simple playback controls like play/pause, skip, repeat/shuffle, and a dedicated volume control are available.
Connection Options
For playing along with your favorite songs, you can connect a smartphone, tablet, or other MP3 player to the jack input. The music plays directly through the speakers. On the back, there are two headphone outputs, and a USB-to-host port is integrated for connecting to a computer.
Accessory Package
This equipment prepares you for any situation. The height-adjustable X-style stand can be screwed to the keyboard for absolute stability—whether standing or sitting. Speaking of sitting: the comfortable stool is also height adjustable.
