Edifier R990BT 2.0 Speaker System

Active 2.0 Desktop Speaker System!

The Edifier R990BT is a compact, active 2-way speaker system equipped with 24 watts of power, a 4" long-throw woofer and a 1" silk-dome tweeter. Via Bluetooth 5.4 or dual cinch inputs you can use both wireless and wired music sources. A robust MDF enclosure with a bass-reflex design delivers clear mids, clean highs and a solid bass even when you place the speakers close to a wall. Additional flexibility comes from preset sound modes and an adjustable EQ via the Edifier ConneX app.

Power & Drivers

The system delivers 24 W RMS total power, split into 12 W per speaker. The woofer (or mid-low) has a 4" diameter, the tweeter is a 1" silk dome. That gives you a good balance: usable bass and clear highs. The frequency range spans 60 Hz to 18 kHz, which is solid for general music listening, movies and gaming.

Enclosure & Placement

The MDF enclosure minimizes resonance and acoustic distortion. The system also features front bass-reflex ports ("calibrated flared bass reflex port"), which help make the bass more punchy even when the speakers are placed close to a wall.

Connectivity & Controls

Bluetooth version 5.4 provides a wireless, stable connection—ideal for streaming from a smartphone or tablet. With the two cinch line inputs you can keep two sources permanently connected without swapping cables. Control is via rear-panel knobs plus an operation button. Through the app you can select sound modes (Music, Movie, Gaming) and create custom settings (equalizer).
