The EVH 5150 Iconic Series meets the needs of gigging and recording guitarists craving the powerful EVH tube tone at a more affordable price. The Iconic Series is an evolution of the revered EVH 5150III amps, delivering the signature sound and snarling gain that made Eddie Van Halen famous during his groundbreaking career. The 5150 Iconic Series 15-Watt 1x10 Combo was designed by renowned amp engineer James Brown and is powered by an EL34 power tube.

A complex, multi-stage hybrid preamp section featuring a duet of ECC83 tubes provides the power modern guitarists demand. The cabinet is made from MDF with a special plywood covering that ensures tight and enhanced bass response, housing a custom EVH 10" Celestion speaker designed specifically for this preamp circuit, so the pristine cleans and cutting high-gain tones stay tight, clear, and articulate. This outstanding combo offers two channels, each with an additional voicing for even more versatility. The green channel features an overdrive knob to switch from clean tones to boosted gain, while the red channel’s burn knob adds a fiery crunch perfect for blazing leads. Each channel has its own gain and volume controls, allowing volume matching when switching between clean and high-gain channels. The control panel also includes a shared EQ (Low, Mid, and High), a global resonance control, and a presence knob to shape the low and high-end response.
