Legendary Tweed Tone In Modern Form!

The Fender Tone Master '59 Twin JB Edition combines the characterful sound of a classic high-powered Tweed Twin with the flexibility of modern Tone Master technology. The signature guitar amplifier, developed together with blues-rock guitarist Joe Bonamassa, is sonically based on the legendary Fender 5F8-A circuit and delivers powerful clean tones, creamy overdrive and the immediate response Tweed amps are known for. With 85 watts, two specially developed 12" Celestion JB85 NEO Signature speakers, six selectable power levels, reverb, effects loop and a balanced XLR line output, the modeling combo is equally suited for stage, studio, rehearsal and home use.

Joe Bonamassa Signature Sound

Joe Bonamassa has relied for many years on Fender High Powered Tweed Twin amps from the late 1950s. On the Tone Master '59 Twin JB Edition this characteristic amp tone is digitally reproduced via Fender's Tone Master modeling process. The result blends the sonic DNA of the historic original with a much more practical control layout. Two channels for Normal and Bright, plus a total of four 6.3 mm jack inputs—two Normal and two Bright—allow the classic signal routing of the original.

85 Watts With Practical Power Adjustment

The historic high-powered concept is known for huge dynamics and volume. On the signature model you can tailor the output via the rear attenuator selector to different situations. In addition to full output, five additional attenuator settings are available. That lets you harness the characteristic Tweed sound in a controlled way for smaller gigs, in the studio, or at home.

Two Specially Developed Celestion Speakers

Playback is handled by two 12" Celestion JB85 NEO Signature speakers specifically developed for this amp. The neodymium design supports a comparatively lightweight overall concept, while the resonance-rich solid pine cabinet underlines the combo's classic character. The total impedance is 4 ohms and the amplifier delivers 85 watts.

Modern Features For Stage And Studio

The built-in reverb expands the traditional Tweed setup with a high-quality spatial effect and is controlled directly from the top-mounted control panel. For delay, modulation and other time-based effects there's an effects loop with 6.3 mm jacks for send and return. The rear Vintage/Tight switch alters the bass response and provides a more focused, controlled low end when needed.

Direct Recording Output With Impulse Responses

The balanced XLR line output features ground lift and level control, and offers three IR cabinet simulations for direct connection to a mixing desk, audio interface or recording system. The speaker IRs are compatible with the Tone Master IR Manager app. Recovery and firmware updates can be performed via USB-C. This allows the Fender Tone Master '59 Twin JB Edition to combine authentic vintage-amp feel with modern possibilities for live and studio setups.

Classic Fender Look With Thoughtful Details

A tweed finish, Bassman-style grille cloth, black chicken-head knobs and the dog-bone handle give the combo an authentic Fender vintage look. The jewel light indicates the current operating status and displays power, warmup or mute via different colors. A cover and a two-button footswitch are included.
