The Instrument Between Guitar and Ukulele!

The Cascha Guitarlele is—as the name suggests—a hybrid between guitar and ukulele. Visually, it resembles a ukulele, but it has six strings like a standard guitar, not just four (like a ukulele). With an overall length of 73 cm, it’s slightly larger than the typical tenor ukulele.

The 43 cm scale length matches that of a 1/8 concert guitar for children, but the guitarlele is tuned differently—one fifth higher. The tuning to A-D-G-C-E-A produces a noticeably brighter sound, giving it the characteristic Hawaiian flair of a ukulele.

Thanks to its six strings, guitarists find switching to the guitarlele especially easy. Still, the Cascha Guitarlele is also a perfect instrument for beginners entering the world of string instruments, as it’s very light and comfortable to play. It works equally well as a solo instrument or for accompanying other musicians and instruments.

The body and neck of the Cascha Guitarlele Mahogany are made entirely of mahogany, one of the most popular tonewoods in guitar making, known for its warm, balanced sound. The fretboard and bridge are crafted from dark rosewood, creating a beautiful visual contrast. Additionally, the "Red Tortoise" binding on the body and rosette is a striking detail that gives the Cascha Guitarlele a classic and very elegant look.

The two integrated strap pins allow attaching ukulele straps for comfortable playing while standing. The package includes a padded premium gig bag with embroidered logo. It protects the instrument optimally and offers enough space in the outer pocket for accessories.

The bag can be easily carried by hand using the reinforced handle or comfortably worn as a backpack with the adjustable shoulder straps.
