All the bigger the disappointment after the first charging of the battery (the necessity and description for charging a battery is not to be found on the home page and can only be found on the last page of the Quick Start Guide) and playing the guitar via amplifier. After the first two full charges, the battery managed 30 to 45 minutes to give w.o. under red flashing. The guitar: could very quickly become a favorite guitar of mine. The concept works for me (ok, not played a concert yet, but tested extensively in the studio in my setup with board and amps) completely. I come from a strong strummed acoustic or electric rhythm guitar background. So like it when chords sound wide and riffs sound fat.
And they certainly do with the Acoustasonic. It's difficult to solo when you like to fret - the G-string is wrapped and thick. It doesn't pull so easily (at most a semitone). But that's not my thing either.
In my cover band we play songs by Jack Johnson, Sheryl Crow, George Ezra, REM - but also Stones/Monkees/Specials... all in all everything that can be played with an acoustic guitar as well as with an electric guitar (so far always Tele).
And you can do that with the Acoustasonic without having to change guitars all the time.
So far I haven't had to plug in the USB cable to recharge the electronics. We'll see when that comes due.
The rest is great. Sounds great, feels very classy (all matte finish) and looks great.
