The one-piece mahogany neck is set-in and fitted with a long tenon. This construction promotes direct vibration transfer between neck and body and delivers long, resonant sustain. The 60s SlimTaper profile feels slimmer and faster than chunkier '50s necks, making it ideal for players who want vintage tone with comfortable playability. The bound rosewood fretboard with a 12" radius, 22 medium-jumbo frets and mother-of-pearl trapezoid inlays offers a classic feel, clear reference points and plenty of room for bends, vibrato and expressive leads.

USA Custombuckers for Authentic Humbucker Tone

In the electronics department Epiphone fits two Gibson Custombuckers with Alnico 3 magnets. These humbuckers deliver open highs, vocal mids and a dynamic output that responds very well to picking attack and the volume control. The hand-wired circuit with CTS pots, Bumblebee paper-in-oil capacitors, Switchcraft toggle and Switchcraft output jack underlines the premium intent.
