Fender James Burton Telecaster Electric Guitar in Blue Paisley Flames!
Like its sister, the James Burton Standard Telecaster, the James Burton Telecaster pays tribute to the legendary guitarist.
Features include a linden body with flame finish, a '60s-style U-profile neck, three pickups specially designed for James Burton with 5-way "Strat-o-Tele" switching, cast/sealed and gold-plated Fender/Schaller Deluxe tuning machines with mother-of-pearl or black chrome knobs, and gold-plated hardware.
Linden Body
The linden body produces a resonance that stands out clearly in any mix. The wood enriches the tone with warmth and beautiful mids, while delivering a smooth but noticeable rumble in the low end.
60s U-Profile
The neck of this James Burton Telecaster features a U-profile. Unlike modern neck profiles, the '60s U-profile offers plenty of material for your fretting hand. The greater mass also contributes to improved resonance with longer sustain.
Three Burton Single-Coils
This is a truly hot Telecaster: its three single-coils are precisely voiced to Burton’s specifications.
5-Way "Strat-o-Tele" Switching
This Telecaster is equipped with three pickups instead of just two, offering more combination options. With the special 5-way "Strat-o-Tele" switch, you can select the neck and bridge pickups individually and combine all three pickups in three different ways.
S-1 Switch
Hidden in the tip of the volume knob, the S-1 switch lets you conveniently activate additional wiring options while playing, unlocking extra tonal variations.
Hardtail Stratocaster Bridge
Spot-on intonation and tuning stability: the James Burton Telecaster features a gold-plated American Vintage bridge with a fixed string-through-body design. Strings run over six saddles and through the body.
