Fender B4 63 TELE REL - ALPB Custom Shop 1963 Telecaster Relic Electric Guitar in Aged Lake Placid Blue Including Case!
New for 2024, the Fender Custom Shop presents the 1963 Telecaster Relic. This guitar is a beautifully crafted reproduction of the Telecaster from Fender’s golden era of the past and a perfect blend of the features from that time.
The two-piece body made of selected alder is artfully aged and finished with a relic-style lacquer. It is paired with a rift-sawn maple neck featuring a '60s style oval C back shape and a rounded laminated rosewood fretboard. With the throaty midrange and bite of a hand-wound original Blackguard bridge pickup from the Custom Shop and the crystal-clear clarity of a hand-wound twisted Tele neck pickup from the Custom Shop, this guitar delivers the classic Telecaster tone with amazing versatility.
Additional premium features include a 9.5" radius, 21 narrow tall frets, modern Tele wiring with greasebucket tone circuit, a 3-way switch, a mint green 3-ply pickguard, a '58-'63 Tele bridge with threaded steel saddles, vintage tuners, a bone nut, string retainer, deluxe hard shell case, strap, and a certificate of authenticity.
