The ES-335 body consists of maple/poplar/maple layers for the top, back, and sides. Combined with a solid maple center block, it produces the amazing sustain, warmth, and resonant tone players expect from a semi-hollowbody instrument. The solid maple center block also helps control unwanted feedback often found in fully hollow guitars. The mahogany neck features a rounded C-profile that is extremely comfortable and easy to play. It is fitted with a rosewood fretboard with a 12" radius, which makes chord playing easier. It is adorned with acrylic dot inlays and equipped with 22 medium-jumbo frets. A Graph Tech nut and Vintage Deluxe tuners with keystone buttons ensure stable tuning, while the nickel-plated ABR-1 Tune-O-Matic bridge and aluminum stop bar tailpiece firmly anchor the strings at the other end to create the excellent sustain the ES-335 is famous for.

Gibson’s calibrated T-Type humbucker pickups in the lead (bridge) and rhythm (neck) positions deliver a wide range of tonal colors and further enhance the ES-335’s extraordinary versatility. They are wired with 500k potentiometers and orange drop capacitors to individual volume and tone controls and feature a three-way pickup selector switch that lets you operate each pickup separately or blend them in any desired ratio, as each has its own volume control. The controls are stylish black top hats with silver reflectors. A Gibson hard shell case is also included to keep the ES-335 safe and protected on the way to your next gig.
