This Soloist model features an ergonomically shaped poplar body, a through-neck maple neck with graphite reinforcement for solid stability, and a backward-angled, sculpted headstock. The bound laurel fretboard with 24 jumbo frets and a 12"-16" radius is more curved at the nut to ease chord playing and flattens toward the neck to allow bends at low string action without muting the string.

Active, covered Jackson High-Output Humbucking pickups power this metal beast, delivering an expansive voice with a crisp, full tone—ideal for bold lead work or cutting rhythm runs. The tone can be fully shaped using the 3-way blade-style pickup selector and volume and tone knobs, while the Floyd Rose Special vibrato bridge with double-locking offers excellent tuning stability and dynamic vibratos.
