Fender Player II Advanced Stratocaster HSS HT - Modern Hardtail Performance!

The Fender Limited Edition Player II Advanced Stratocaster HSS HT pairs the familiar Stratocaster concept with a spec purposely tuned for modern playing styles. An alder body, the bolt-on maple neck with a Modern "C" profile, an ebony fretboard with a 12" radius and the Seymour Duncan HSS pickup configuration create a versatile electric guitar that blends classic Fender DNA with higher output, direct response and a stable hardtail construction.

Seymour Duncan HSS Pickup Setup with Plenty of Headroom

At the bridge you'll find a Seymour Duncan JB TB-4 humbucker. Its powerful low end, clear highs and emphasis on upper mids give chords substance and definition and push through for assertive rock and high-gain tones. It's complemented by two Seymour Duncan Custom Flat Strat SSL-6 single coils in the middle and neck positions. These intentionally hotter-wound single coils combine increased output with the snappy, open character typical of Strat sounds. The middle SSL-6 is fitted as an RWRP unit. The familiar single and in-between tones are available via the 5-way switch, while a master volume and two tone controls handle overall shaping.

Modern Neck Concept for Bends and Fast Leads

The maple neck sports a satin finish and a Modern "C" profile. Rolled fretboard edges provide a comfortably broken-in transition to the picking hand. The ebony fretboard with its 12" radius adds a distinctly modern touch: paired with 22 jumbo frets it creates plenty of room for controlled bends and fluid playing across the whole fingerboard. The classic Fender 25.5" scale length is retained, marrying the modern setup with the familiar Stratocaster feel.

They keep strings secure, simplify string changes and complement the fixed bridge as part of a hardware concept focused on tuning stability.
