The guitar looks very good and makes a high quality impression.
After I tuned it and adjusted it to me, it put a grin on my face with its sound. Hit,...... that's exactly what I wanted. So I played it slowly and noticed that every now and then a tone didn't quite fit. Since I was only used to Gibson Les Pauls and Jackson Floyd Rose guitars, I thought to myself, well, first of all, everything has to be played freely and the strings have to be stretched, and secondly, it's a different system. After I was exposed to mega pure Fender Strat for about 3 hours I wanted to have some staimmstabilität.......but fiddlesticks. As soon as I looked even remotely at the tremolo lever I slipped up to a 1/4 tone up or down.
It was basically the Fender sound vs the tuning stability.
Do I send it back and get a new one or directly money back...... what is right?!
But since the sound overruled me, I wanted to keep it at all costs. So I took the strings off again and went for it with a magnifying glass. Checked everything again and filed the saddle, lubricated it with graphite paste, and so on.
Then one thing remained open, ....... the mechanics.
Are they solid?
!!!NO!!!
..... I was able to unscrew 5 out of 6 mechanics from the head plate by hand without tools.

The mechanic in Corona, California must have been out of his mind.
So tuners tight, earnie balls on and ta-da,....... Now I had it, a tuning stable Fender HSS Strat with a killer sound. (Sound sensation is certainly subjective but for me = "Bulls Eye" )
So some blood and sweat, but in the end a super, great instrument get. Price performance definitely fits with it.
Very clear buy recommendation for the HSS.
