EMG 81 and EMG 85 for powerful sounds

ESP LTD opts for a classic active EMG combination. The EMG 81 at the bridge has been a well-established humbucker for precise rhythm playing, hard picking and cutting lead tones for decades. At the neck, an EMG 85 adds a powerful second tonal character to the setup. Controls are deliberately simple, with Volume, Tone and a 3-way switch. This puts direct access to the two humbuckers front and center, without additional switching options or complex controls.

Fixed bridge and string-thru-body construction

LTD deliberately leaves out a tremolo system on the M-400HT. Instead, it features an LTD hardtail bridge with string-thru-body stringing.
