The 1958 Les Paul Standard Reissue incorporates all the historic construction methods of the famous '59 reissues—while featuring a few historically accurate differences that give it unique distinguishing characteristics. Like the 1958 originals, it has narrow frets that let more of the fingerboard wood come through in the tone profile. It also sports a rounded, chunky neck profile for a full playing feel and maximum bending. The guitar has a beautiful, simple maple top; each instrument is therefore unique and full of character.
The instrument was treated by the experienced craftsmen of the Murphy Lab with Ultra Light Aging. The Murphy Lab Ultra Light Aged finish, paired with lightly aged hardware, simulates decades of light playing wear and gives the guitar the unique character, presence, and feel of an original from Gibson's golden era.

To ensure you enjoy this instrument for years, it has been inspected and pre-setup by Kirstein Quality Control. This is done in our guitar workshop by our guitar technicians. We guarantee the flawless condition on a certificate that is included with the instrument.
