Ibanez RGD7521PB-DSF Deep Seafloor Fade Flat

First of all, a beautiful guitar in general. Matte finish with tactile grain, great color scheme... I love that! As I'm used to from Ibanez, there's nothing wrong with the workmanship. It's well balanced and not too heavy. The neck is straight and the frets are cleanly dressed. Everything is great. The only downside I have to make is the pickups. Although they are DiMarzios and they do indeed sound super clear and transparent, they don't produce any pressure at all. There's a lot missing at the bottom. I found that a bit disappointing. But I was forewarned, as others have also criticized this issue and it was also stated by the manufacturer. But since I have a penchant for swapping pickups anyway, I didn't deduct a star from the rating. My credo is: if the guitar looks great, plays well and is generally a great instrument, then I'll keep it!
Pickups, pots, tuners and strings can be replaced, but not the feel and playability.
So: I'm still tinkering here!
As I said, I knew what I was getting into in terms of sound, which is why I didn't deduct a star. Everything else about the instrument is great.
