Die Les Paul Standard 50s-Modelle aus Epiphones neuer "Inspired by Gibson"-Kollektion reproduzieren den Les-Paul-Sound aus den 1950er Jahren.
Ausgestattet mit einem klassischen Mahagoni-Korpus mit Ahorn-Decke und ProBucker-Humbuckern mit CTS-Elektronik. Die lange Freundschaft von Epiphone mit Mr. Les Paul begann 1940, als Les während seiner Arbeit in der ursprünglichen Epiphone-Fabrik in Manhattan eine der ersten Solid-Body-E-Gitarren der Welt baute. Les' erste Solidbody-Gitarre mit dem Spitznamen "The Log" inspirierte später die Les Paul Standard, die viele als die beste E-Gitarre betrachten, die jemals hergestellt wurde.
