With two possible pickup configurations, a 5-way switch, and the passive Focus Switch boost, the new Revstar Standard is all about versatility. This Revstar Standard features P90 pickups, a 5-way selector, the Focus Switch, and a special Racing Tailpiece.
Chambered Body with Acoustic Design
The Revstar Standard guitars feature a chambered body. These chambers shape the tone and improve balance. Carbon rods in the neck enhance vibration transfer.
5-Way Switch
Using the same 5-way switch as the Revstar Professional, the slight phase shift in positions 2 and 4 breathes new life into the familiar intermediate tones.
The Revstar offers advanced pickup switching options for guitarists seeking a new style or sound!
Focus Switch
The push/pull tone pot activates a passive boost that delivers an effect similar to "hotter" pickups: darker highs, more pronounced mids and bass, and a more assertive tonal character.
Pickups
The RSS20 and RSS20L come equipped with humbuckers, while the RSS02T is available with P90 pickups. All pickups are specially developed by Yamaha and use Alnico V magnets for powerful tone.
