The ESP LTD Arrow Black Metal combines its distinctive Arrow V shape with a neck-through construction and an active bridge humbucker offering three tonal voicings. This electric guitar is for players looking to bring together powerful metal riffs and versatile lead playing in an instrument with straightforward controls. Its angular silhouette and reverse headstock underline the model's distinctive character.
Neck-through maple neck and Makassar ebony
The three-piece maple neck is paired with mahogany body wings and a Makassar ebony fingerboard. Its Extra-Thin U profile is particularly slim, while 24 extra-jumbo stainless steel frets provide plenty of range for lead playing. The combination of a neck-through construction, pronounced V shape and streamlined controls defines the Arrow both structurally and visually.
Three tonal characters from one humbucker
The Seymour Duncan MortalCoil 3-Voice expands the single-pickup concept with three carefully voiced sounds. Voice 1 delivers a tight sound with clear note definition for modern high-gain applications. Voice 2 is based on the classic JB bridge tone, while Voice 3 offers an articulate single-coil character for clean and lightly overdriven passages. In the bridge model, this third sound is created by the integrated preamp's voicing, not by a conventional coil split. Use the 3-way switch to select the desired voicing; a volume control sets the level.
Floyd Rose 1000 for expressive tremolo technique
The Floyd Rose 1000 is a double-locking tremolo that adopts the construction and materials of the Floyd Rose Original. Its base plate and saddles are made of hardened steel. Together with the locking nut, the system provides a foundation for vibrato effects and dive bombs. The tremolo adds another expressive option to the three pickup voicings, from subtle pitch bends to striking solo accents.
