Der leichte und resonante Pappelkorpus mit gewölbter Decke und der geschraubte Ahornhals mit Graphitverstärkung und Scarf-Joint für felsenfeste Stabilität zeichnen diese teuflische Axt aus. Mit 24 Jumbo-Bünden und Piranha-Tooth-Einlagen bietet das Amaranth-Griffbrett mit 12"-16" Compound-Radius die ideale Spielfläche für fette Riffs und leichtes Chording nahe des schwarzen Kunststoffsattels, während es in den oberen Lagen allmählich abflacht, um blitzschnelle Soli und weite Bendings ermöglichen.

Angetrieben von zwei direkt montierten Jackson High-Output-Humbucking-Tonabnehmern, ist die JS22-7 DKA HT außerdem mit einem 3-Wege-Blade-Schalter, einem Lautstärke- und einem Toneregler, einer kompensierten, Strings-Through-Body Hardtail Jackson HT7-Brücke, geschlossenen Druckguss-Mechaniken und Jacksons 3x4 (3 oben, 4 unten) AT-1-Kopfplatte ausgestattet.

Der JS22-7 DKA HT ist in einem Satin Black Finish mit komplett schwarzer Hardware ausgeführt.
