Axe Design Lab Electric Guitar from the RGD Series!
Ibanez has created innovations that not only meet the unique demands of players of this era but eventually set industry standards, such as 7-string, 8-string, and multiscale guitars. It all started with our mindset to be "innovative, inventive, and groundbreaking." Axe Design Lab is the series that fully embodies this attitude.
Unique Ibanez Multiscale Electric Guitar!
The RGD is Ibanez’s ultimate metal machine. The demands of down-tuning require a specially developed response that you won’t find on “normal” guitars. To optimize the rich, desirable tone produced by down-tuning, we extended the neck by 2.5 cm to a 26.5-inch scale length.
Longer than standard but not excessively so. The neck is still considered a “fast” neck for speed soloing. Extra deep cutaways provide comfortable access to the highest frets on the neck.
