Cort X-100 OPBK Electric Guitar in Open Pore Black!
The entry model of the revamped X Series is the X-100, offering the fast and comfortable playability found in the more expensive models of the series. The Meranti body combined with the maple neck and Jatoba fretboard, plus the high-output Powersound Humbuckers, create a coherent overall concept delivering a ton of guitar and quality for the money.
Meranti Body
Meranti has a tonal character very similar to mahogany, with a strong emphasis on midrange frequencies paired with present highs, ensuring it cuts through the mix and band context effectively.
Powersound Pickups
The classic humbucker combo of PSLP-1F & PSLP-1R (H-H) delivers a powerful, rich sound with a good amount of bite.
6-Point Vintage Tremolo
The X100 features a classic vintage-style tremolo system that offers high tuning stability and guarantees easy string changes.
Ergonomic Body Contour
The elegant lines of the updated X Series body provide both comfortable handling and a visually appealing look.
Maple Neck
The maple neck is very torsion-resistant and stable, delivering a powerful, clear tone that works well with many different fretboard woods.
Jatoba Fretboard
Jatoba is a very dense and hard wood, making it ideal for fretboard use. It offers excellent response and emphasizes the upper midrange. The new raindrop inlays give the guitar a distinctive visual edge.
Combo Amplifier
The Rocktile Scream-15 provides 15 watts of power, enough to test the neighbors’ patience. It’s perfectly suited for practice sessions at home or in the rehearsal room. Alongside a gain control with boost switch for distorted tones, the amp features a 3-band EQ for bass, mids, and treble, plus a volume control. A front-facing headphone jack ensures silent practice during late hours by automatically muting the speaker when headphones are plugged in. Additionally, the Scream-15 offers an AUX input for connecting MP3 players, CD players, etc.
