The Player II Mustang Bass PJ embodies pure timeless Fender charm. Under the hood, it’s state-of-the-art. Every detail is designed for smooth playability. The neck features a modern C-profile with a silky satin urethane finish on the back, carrying a maple or rosewood slab fingerboard with a 9.5" radius, gently rounded edges, and 20 medium jumbo frets. The classic alder body comes either in the popular timeless Fender finishes or in brand-new historic colors freshly pulled from the archive.
Equipped with Player Series Alnico V P Bass Split-Coil and J Bass Single-Coil pickups, you essentially play two basses in one, with sweet highs, growling-present mids, and earth-shaking lows. Both pickups can be switched via a 3-way toggle. An adjustable bridge with four individual notched steel saddles and open tuners keep the strings exactly where they belong.
With the Player II Mustang Bass PJ, you get the coveted Fender bass tone, look, and vibe – plus an extremely musically versatile low end that fits any style.
Softcase for Electric Bass
The 2 cm thick all-around padding provides perfect protection for your bass. Since the neck support is attached inside the case with hook-and-loop fastener, it can be positioned precisely at the upper end of the body. The very spacious exterior pockets offer room for additional accessories, and the comfortable hard plastic carry handle is perfect when you’re on foot. Alternatively, just pull out the two backpack straps from the loops and you’re good to go.
