Cort B5 Element Open Pore Burgundy Red - 5-String Electric Bass!
The Artisan B5 Element model has been completely redesigned, combining the best features of the very popular Artisan B series such as the roasted maple fretboard on a 5-piece Panga Panga neck, Bartolini pickups, and electronics.
Here, the new MetalCraft M bridge with Dual String Loading System is also used, which ensures better vibration transfer thanks to its increased mass. The contours of the mahogany body have been made even more ergonomic, and the beautifully grained ash top comes in 3 stunning color variants. The combination of the right elements, together with Cort's excellent build quality, makes the Artisan B5 Element an extraordinary bass for professionals and enthusiasts alike.
Mahogany Body with Ash Top
The mahogany body with ash top delivers an excellent balance between warm, full basses and very clear, present highs. Not to forget, the beautiful grain of the ash top gives the bass a very natural appearance.
Roasted Maple Fretboard
By heat-treating the maple in an oxygen-free oven at relatively high temperatures, the wood stabilizes and develops a wonderful brown look and a pronounced tone.
Bartolini MK-1 Pickups
The Bartolini Dual-Coil MK-1 pickup delivers a dynamic tone with massive, cutting mids and crystal-clear highs.
Bartolini MK-1 Preamp
The Bartolini MK-1 preamp is the perfect match for the Bartolini pickups. The 3-band EQ is very versatile and offers a wide range of sounds without compromising dynamics and transparency.
MetalCraft M Bridge
The solid, mass-rich MetalCraft M bridge was developed with a focus on easy handling and improved vibration transfer. The strings can be threaded either traditionally from the back into the bridge or through the body (string-through-body) to achieve either the classic tone or more sustain and a more focused tone through the body. Another improvement in vibration properties is the deep, individual slots where the saddles sit absolutely precisely and cannot shift. This ensures a clean transfer of string vibration to the body. MetalCraft M4 and M5 feature string spacing of 19mm on the M4 and 18mm on the M5 bridge.
5-Piece Panga Panga/Walnut Neck
The walnut strips make the Panga Panga neck even more stable and torsion-resistant while adding warmth and mids tonally.
Hipshot Ultralite Tuners
The Artisan B5 Element comes standard with Hipshot Ultralite tuners for precise tuning and tuning stability.
Gigbag
