Roland's Noise-Damping System for V-Drums!
Roland V-Drums give drummers who live in apartment buildings the only professional option for practicing, because acoustic drum kits are often too loud. With the Noise Eater series you can further optimize the situation and cut incidental noise even more. Roland's innovative Noise Eater line is a useful tool for damping impact noise and vibrations that occur when you operate a foot pedal.
This lets you reduce the playing noise of Roland V-Drums—already quiet thanks to mesh-head pads—even further and protect rooms below from footfall noise and vibrations transmitted through the floor.
Roland conducted extensive tests and found that using the Noise Eater series in addition reduces the volume of directly transmitted footfall noise and vibrations by about 75 percent. This makes it possible to play V-Drums at home even at unusual times (e.g., at night) without disturbing people in adjacent rooms or other apartments.
NE-10 Noise Eater
The NE-10 Noise Eater is a sturdy plate featuring several hollow rubber feet. The NE-10 can be used with kick pads, kick pedals and hi-hat control pedals from the V-Drums series. It's designed not to affect pedal action, preserving the drummer's natural playing feel.
