The PDP Concept Series Black Wax Maple Snares feature a dark, smooth, matte surface thanks to a hand-applied wax-based finish.
This specialty snare boasts a 10-ply European maple shell that delivers a medium pitch with full attack and warm tone, while the wax finish highlights the subtle beauty of the maple grain.
Like all snare drums in the Concept Series, every Black Wax snare is outfitted with PDP’s Dual-Turret lugs and DW’s MAG strainer plus True Pitch tension rods for precise, stable tuning. World-class Remo drumheads make these snares ready to play straight out of the box.
